This privacy policy describes how Kynne AB ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application Ork ("the App"). Your personal privacy is of the utmost importance to us, especially regarding your health data.

1. Apple Health (HealthKit)

Ork integrates with Apple's HealthKit API to read and/or write data (such as heart rate, HRV, sleep, respiratory rate, activity, and nutritional information). This is done solely to provide the App's core features: analyzing your recovery and calculating your energy levels.

• No sale of data: Under no circumstances do we sell, rent, or share your HealthKit data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or to other data brokers.
• Only for app functionality: Health data is exclusively used to provide you with personalized health insights within the Ork app.
• Your consent: The App can only access this data if you explicitly grant permission via Apple's built-in iOS permission system. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app.

2. What other data do we collect?

In addition to local health data, we may collect anonymized usage data (e.g., crash reports and app interactions) to improve the App's performance and user experience. This occurs without being tied to your identity or your medical data.

When you use features such as AI-generated insights or meal recognition via the camera, data (such as meal photos or aggregated activity data) is transmitted encrypted to our servers and subcontractors for processing. This data is deleted immediately after processing and is never stored to build personal profiles.

3. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access. Communication between the App and our servers always occurs over encrypted channels (HTTPS/SSL).

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy in the future. Significant changes will be communicated within the App or via App Store description updates. By continuing to use the App, you agree to any changes.
